Grotta Verde is located in Marina di Andrano, in the province of Lecce. We are located along the area known as Basso Salento on the south-eastern side of the Salento coast, characterised mainly by cliffs intertwined with typical Mediterranean scrub and ending in a clear blue sea. This area is rich in beautiful inlets and characteristic fjords all waiting to be discovered. The presence of numerous grottoes intrigues hundreds of tourists every year who flock to these beautiful coastlines in search of fresh sensations to be immortalised perhaps with an evocative selfie. One of the many natural tourist attractions that the Marina di Andrano offers is certainly the Grotta Verde (Green Cave), this beautiful sea cavity so called because thanks to the play of light reflecting in the waters of the cave, the whole environment takes on an emerald green colour, drawing a unique spectacle that fills the soul with positive feelings, thus enriching the experience of our holiday. The Green Cave is a unique spectacle of nature. It should definitely be visited during the morning hours, as from the afternoon onwards the light fades and those wonderful reflections from the sun"s rays begin to diminish.
