Fontanelle Beach lies along a picturesque stretch of coastline on the Ionian coast of Salento and is located in the town of the same name in the municipality of Ugento in the province of Lecce. We are inside the Regional Natural Park of the Ugento coastline, a nature reserve that contains the symbolic beauties of this land such as the typical Mediterranean scrub that grows spontaneously almost everywhere, almost as if to mark the typicality of the area, a transparent sea with different shades of blue that change according to the different times of day, and last but not least, the expanses of white sand dunes that alternate with low, practicable cliffs to draw a landscape that is difficult to forget once you have left. The nearby car park allows easier access to the beach, which even in the height of summer maintains a quiet and uncrowded appearance compared to the more famous nearby beaches such as Pescoluse or Torre San Giovanni.
