San Gregorio beach is located in the south-western coastal area of Salento, specifically in the municipality of Patù, in the province of Lecce, in the region of Puglia. The beach is characterised by a low, jagged cliff, interrupted by small inlets of fine white sand. The crystal-clear sea takes on hues ranging from emerald green to deep blue, and offers the possibility of snorkelling and diving to discover marine fauna. In the vicinity of the beach are some typical Salento restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish dishes and local products, and a small church dedicated to the local patron saint, St Gregory. The beach of San Gregorio is a popular destination for tourists, but also for local residents, thanks to the beauty of the landscape and the tranquillity. Although it is not a very extensive beach, it offers an authentic and unique experience, with a relaxing and genuine atmosphere. The sea maintains a shallow depth for long stretches, making it ideal for families with children. Have a good summer from the Spiaggia di San Gregorio.
