Spiaggia di Lido Marini

Lido Marini - Ugento

Lido Marini is a locality belonging to the municipality of Ugento, in the province of Lecce; we are on the south-western side of the Salento, and travelling southwards, towards the marina of Santa Maria di Leuca, a beautiful stretch of free beach immersed in uncontaminated nature and surrounded by the greenery of the typical Mediterranean scrub presents itself to our eyes. The beach at Lido Marini is characterised by a long stretch of golden sand, washed by a deep blue crystalline sea. The beach is very wide and spacious, with a length of about 4 km, and offers a choice between the more crowded areas, close to the bathing establishments, or the quieter areas, far from the chaos and immersed in nature. The entire stretch of coastline on which the Lido Marini beach is located is equipped with all the services needed to guarantee patrons a pleasant day in the sun: there are many bathing establishments offering beach umbrellas, sunbeds, toilets and showers, but there are also free areas for those who prefer a more economical solution. The beach is very suitable for families with children as, for long stretches, the sea maintains a shallow depth and then gently slopes down; in addition, there are many water activities available, such as pedal boat, canoe and jet ski rentals. Finally, a very vivid advice would be to stop until sunset to admire an exciting glimpse of bright colours as the sun gently disappears over the horizon; pleasant sensations and moments to be framed for a perfect holiday, welcome to Lido Marini beach.
