At Lido Conchiglie, just a few kilometres from Gallipoli in the province of Lecce, we find the Stabilimento Balneare Aeronautica Militare, a lido managed by the Italian Air Force. The facility is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the entire Salento region, with a beach characterised by deep white sand and a beautiful blue sea. The water is quite shallow for long stretches, so you can let your children play in peace and quiet and the air you breathe is that of a real holiday. The beach is well-maintained and clean, the staff is always available, the beach umbrellas and sunbeds are the right distance apart, and the atmosphere is excellent, so if you are passing through here, do not hesitate to drop in on this wonderful place... have a great holiday!
