When we speak of Torre Castiglione, we are describing one of the most beautiful and evocative stretches of coastline in the Salento. Here nature has stopped time, forming a corner of paradise made up of golden sand, high dunes mixed with Mediterranean maquis, an asymmetrical cliff that draws fascinating glimpses, native vegetation and a crystal-clear blue sea that changes colour according to the different times of day. As you walk along these places, you will feel dragged out of your holiday dimension and become one with unspoilt nature, here you can breathe in the sea, the air, the very essence of the sand and the cliffs, this is Torre Castiglione. The small beach under consideration, which is located close to what is now a ruin of the ancient 16th-century tower, lies along a small inlet, and the transparent sea in its entirety always maintains a shallow depth, so let your children play in the water in peace. The sand has small sea pebbles in places as the place is a bit of a mix of reef and beach, but this does not detract from the charm and wonder of being one of the most enchanting parts of this beautiful region called Puglia. The stretch of coastline in question is devoid of services as we are talking about a corner of nature lost in time, but if you take a little walk around the area you will occasionally find a few lidos to refresh and refresh yourself. I advise you to leave only after admiring one of the most beautiful sunsets you can ever remember... this is the magic of Torre Castiglione... this is Salento.
