The Bay of Turks is a place that certainly needs no introduction, this picturesque stretch of coastline gives endless emotions to the thousands of travelers who every year decide to visit these areas especially during the summer season; thanks to its beaches of fine white sand, the infectious blue of these transparent waters and the entire naturalistic landscape around it, the Bay of Turks can be counted without a doubt among the most renowned tourist areas in Europe. Among the many characteristic coves that distinguish the Baia dei Turchi, one of them, the Caletta di Toraiello, represents a real jewel that glitters unchallenged for the benefit of lucky patrons. The Caletta di Toraiello turns out to be almost swallowed up by the thick Mediterranean scrub that grows wild almost everywhere along this area and can be reached by driving along a short stretch of road in close contact with the wild scents of all the vegetation present. Once we arrive at this beautiful bay here is what opens before our eyes a naturalistic spectacle of all respect; the fresh and transparent sea looks like a real natural open-air pool, and the white soft sand colors in silver a small part of this basin surrounded by low cliffs. The whole area is quiet and is uncrowded even in the height of the summer season, and once you have taken in the sights you will be spoiled for choice in locating a spot on which to spread your towel and let the warm rays of the sun warm you up for the perfect tan. The sea becomes deep after a few strokes and lends itself wonderfully to snorkelers. The whole bay conveys a sense of wildness and solitude and it is nice to blend in with all the surrounding nature, glimpses of a Salento all to be experienced, have a good summer from Caletta di Toraiello.
