Grotta delle Ancore is a sea cave on the Porto Miggiano coast. The Apulian Speleological Federation catalogue records it in Santa Cesarea Terme at 40.0322500, 18.4451333.

Porto Miggiano Tower overlooks the small harbour and bay. Santa Cesarea Terme municipality dates it to the second half of the 16th century and records its defensive and offensive role, including artillery, within the coastal tower system.
Pilane is a rocky stretch of Porto Miggiano where erosion and rock forms create natural pools and platforms close to the sea. It is not a serviced sandy beach and usability changes with wave conditions.
Porto Miggiano is a genuine tourist landing, not an ordinary beach. Municipal rules describe a slipway, two quays, operational areas and mooring spaces. The bay is scenic, but harbour functions must be respected.
