Punta Palascia is located on the southeastern side of the Salento coast and is the easternmost part of Italy, on some nautical charts dividing the Ionian Sea from the Adriatic Sea. That"s why Salento, that"s why it"s not only summer and that"s why it explains the different characteristics that distinguish this magical land that gives emotions to the many visitors who from time to time decide to share the most touching moments of unique experiences. Italy"s first sunrise is synonymous with Punta Palascia, weather permitting, this very special astrophysical phenomenon is geographically linked with this wonderful land so that Otranto, and Punta Palascia specifically represent the meeting point of thousands of sensations and desires that are ignited in this evocative sunrise. Of course it is unusual to describe an event that takes place in the middle of winter when we talk about the beautiful coasts of Salento but this territory surprises also for this, and just as a sunset on the sea can excite each of us standing still and motionless contemplating such a spectacle equally so is the first sunrise of the year to be shared with loved ones to be kept in the book of our most precious memories... happy vacations from Punta Palascia.
