The Scoglio di Sapunerò is located just north of Otranto on the southeastern side of Salento, along a marvelous stretch of coastline where wide cliffs that fall sheer to the sea alternate with stretches of fine white beach; framing this stupendous landscape is the clear and transparent blue of these fabulous waters that convey a sense of freedom and strong emotions when you make that sparkling contact through a liberating dive. The Scoglio di Sapunerò is a founding part of this territory, this rocky monolith covered by the green of the spontaneous Mediterranean scrub, highlighting an evocative contrast of colors , stands as a constant sentinel of an area that amazes in all its beauty. If you love unspoiled and wild nature, the tranquility and relaxation that a few walks through small paths convey, combined with that sense of satisfaction in having chosen to spend a few hours discovering glimpses of an enchanting Puglia, then the Scoglio di Sapunerò is the place for you. Of course considering the high rocks that fall into the sea and the access into the water not exactly comfortable the ideal would be to rent a small boat to fully enjoy these fantastic places and contemplate in this way the sea with all its beauty. Otherwise the place deserves all our consideration and you will surely be repaid through vibrant and positive feelings, have a good summer from Otranto.
