Fontanelle Beach rises along an evocative stretch of coastline on the Salento Ionian coast and is located in the homonymous locality that is part of the municipality of Ugento in the province of Lecce. We are inside the Regional Natural Park Litorale di Ugento, a nature reserve that encloses the symbolic beauties of this land such as the typical Mediterranean scrub that grows spontaneously a bit everywhere almost to mark the typicality of the territory, a transparent sea that presents different shades of blue that change according to the different hours of the day and last but not least, the expanses of white sandy dunes that alternate with low practicable cliffs to draw a landscape that is difficult to forget once you leave again. Fontanelle Beach is a stretch of free beach that rises adjacent to a green pine forest that always comes in handy in midsummer for the ample areas of shade it provides perfect for an afternoon siesta; the nearby parking lot allows for more convenient access to the beach, which even in midsummer maintains a quiet and uncrowded appearance compared to the more famous nearby beaches such as Pescoluse or Torre San Giovanni. Nearby there are equipped lidos that offer the various services for every eventuality; many families with children, the sea is shallow for long stretches and you can breathe a real vacation air, many greetings from Fontanelle Beach.
