Conca Specchiulla - Melendugno
Frassanito Beach is located in Frassanito precisely just south of Conca Specchiulla on the east coast of Salento about 40 kilometers from Lecce. Frassanito Beach is most famous for being a destination for windsurfing enthusiasts, and here they find the ideal place where different currents cross that literally make the sails of these guys fly at the surface of the water. Frassanito Beach is surrounded by unspoiled nature, expanses of Mediterranean scrub that grows wild just about everywhere are mixed with the high sand dunes and a few spots of low cliffs that are easy to walk on. The place is truly enchanting and stands out above all that wild and lonely aspect to which is joined by the unchallenged and transparent blue of a marvelous sea; it only takes a little then to realize that you are in the presence of an unaltered environment, ideal then to unplug from the daily routine and relax in the company of the sound of the sea waves and the warmth of a sun that beats down hard in the middle of summer. The Frassanito Beach is a true naturalistic oasis, here people often come to seek moments of peace away from the crowded and noisy beaches of the most famous tourist resorts; nearby there are a couple of lidos to possibly refresh from the summer heat, being an area frequented by surfers you can easily guess that it is often windy, the nearby parking guarantees an easy parking of your car so what more can you ask for. The whole area of Frassanito is an intact and clean corner of paradise, let"s try to respect it and keep it that way with a small gesture, let"s bring back the garbage bags with us, have a good summer from Frassanito Beach.
