The Chianca Liscia beach is located in Marina di Marittima, a hamlet of the municipality of Diso in the province of Lecce. We are on the side of the Adriatic Sea in the deep south of a Salento all waiting to be discovered, for its natural beauty, for the surrounding landscape and for a coastline that never ceases to amaze, attracting hundreds of visitors every year in search of a refreshing spot to enjoy a day at the beach. The Beach of Chianca Liscia owes its name to the fact that this place has a type of smooth, flat cliff, shaped by the perpetual flow of the waves in such a way that it is convenient for laying out your beach towel and taking advantage of a beautiful tan under the Salento sun so as to make your colleagues envious once you have returned to work. The Chianca Liscia beach is a wonderful place, a little corner of paradise that is seldom visited even in the height of the summer season, and this lonely, lost-in-time aspect makes it even more attractive and inviting for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity. Here you will only be distracted by the sound of the waves beating so gently on the rocks and you will have nothing to do but relax and be massaged by that gentle breeze that usually blows in these parts. The only flaw is in reaching the Chianca Liscia beach, as to get there you have to walk along a small path with a flight of steps downhill that is not really appropriate, so I would not recommend this place to families with children, the elderly or the disabled. For the rest, once you get there, it will be pleasant to bathe in these cool, clean waters; the sea is shallow for only a small stretch, after which it immediately becomes deep and lends itself happily to snorkelling enthusiasts but also for a healthy, regenerating swim. This place deserves all our attention, but also our care in respecting an uncontaminated nature. As you leave, take your rubbish bags back with you, a small gesture to keep intact an environment that is as evocative as it is delicate... happy holidays from Marina di Marittima.
