The two Sisters are two beautiful stacks that stand imposingly in the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea and are located in front of the beach of Torre dell"Orso in the Marina of Melendugno, a marina already awarded the Blue Flag the prestigious recognition that certifies the quality of the waters, and already this should be one more reason to come and visit these enchanting places. Legend tells of two young sisters who moved from the countryside to the fragrant sea and would dive in a desperate gesture of love disappearing into the white foamy waves, and shortly afterwards a local fisherman would first notice these tall rocks, calling them precisely the two Sisters. But apart from this romantic tale, the place is a wonder of nature, a corner of paradise worth visiting both for the crystal-clear blue waters and for the absolute beauty of the two Sisters who are the main tourist attraction of the place, absolute sentinels of this indescribably fascinating stretch of coastline. When the sea is not too rough you can swim to these two beautiful stacks that seem to embrace each other in the deep blue of this wonderful sea, and it is quite visible on one of the two stacks the typical green of the Mediterranean scrub a distinctive element of this fantastic land. Torre dell"Orso is a real paradise on earth the beaches are surrounded by imposing cliffs and are close to large pine forests and small dunes drawing a naturalistic landscape of all respect, the fine golden sand is a typical peculiarity of this area, a rare beauty that combined with the freshness and transparency of this inviting sea complete this enchanting landscape; this stretch of coast is literally taken by storm in the middle of summer so the advice is to get there during the early morning hours if you want to secure a small portion of the beach. These areas are true corners of unspoiled nature take care of them by respecting the place trying to keep it clean to safeguard its charm and absolute beauty!
