Paterte beach is located in the marina of Mancaversa, a locality belonging to the municipality of Taviano in the province of Lecce. We are on the Ionian side of Salento and continuing southward along an evocative stretch of coast we come across this beautiful beach; Paterte beach has points of low, practicable cliffs that mix with a tongue of soft, golden sand. The whole area turns out to be uncrowded even in high season and maintains that wild and lonely aspect; we are only a few kilometers south of the more famous Gallipoli but Paterte beach presents its characteristics of an area worth visiting to enjoy a well-deserved day in the sun. The sea is shallow for long stretches and maintains that blue color and so transparent that you can reflect in it; many families with children and people looking for relaxation, few services in the area and this is perhaps the most characteristic aspect of this stretch of coast, so bring with you a cooler bag full of cold drinks, your beach towel, a beach umbrella and have a good summer from the beach of Paterte di Mancaversa.
